Criticisms - Not a tremendous variation in the curve, meaning likely placement will be dictated by what point on the surface the angle of the mount best aligns.

When no camera is attached, the mount appears like a large protruding glossy black sticker, rather than another feature or attachment that might be part of the gear.

Distinctions - Very strong adhesive bond coupled with GoPro’s commitment to standardization in size and usage for all cameras and mounts means greater longevity than ever before.

Criticisms - Plastic elements do break, and detachment means either controlled disposal because revitalization of adhesive is not possible, or involuntary littering due to loss during use.

Distinctions - GoPro’s use of 3M is discernibly strong when compared to previous generations, and their commitment to a lifetime guarantee is admirable over comparable accessories.

Criticisms - The obvious issue is a price discrepancy between peers that are GoPro compatible. Similarly, other peers offer customization via color or angle that are not present in GoPro’s release. This is the most aggressively angled adhesive mount they sell, and will likely still not match the curve of some helmets or other applications users are looking for.
